Fatal1ty Headset

I bought the Creative Fatal1ty USB HS-100 gaming headset, and got everything downloaded.
That would include the drivers,software, and the firmware. Yet my headset, plugged into a USB slot, does not give off any audio throughout the headset but instead through my speakers.
I've tried many ways to fix this and even sent an email to the company.

Anyone have any suggestions or ways to resolve this? Thanks ahead of time.

I've had the same thing wrong with my Microsoft Lifechat exit what ever your listening to then open it again it should work

Problem solved, tried it on my other computer... and I simply download the disk wrong. Thanks for the tip, i'll keep that in consideration though.
