You should get the status soon it doesn't come instant I have to wait a while to go up a rank like active member or contrib.

no no it just takes the site a while to update your status. EDIT:you need 50 posts to go to the shoutbawx btw

Contact Ket about this, he handles donations and other monetary dues.

It should have come instantly, as your link to paypal is linked to your user name.

You do not have to wait for a rank up. The only rank/post related feature of donating is the shoutbox.
