last week i was unable to get onto MMowned. saying that the server crashed or something.

There are times when it's crazy slow for me..

Went through everything, disabled phishing filter, etc...

And what I noticed.. Is that if you click a link and it's taking a long-ass time, hit "stop" -- most of the time it's b/c of people with ghetto sig hosting sites, that take a long time to send the info over...

IE... someone has a sig hosted on his own comp, which is getting hammered b/c all of his porn torrents are being DL'd, or some off-the-wall image hosting site with limited bnadwitdh, and there's no bandwidth to cover it....

yeah anyways.. <stop> the page, and most of the time it will come up with all the information, minus the sigs which aren't cached, that are taking too long to DL. Not much ya can do about that.

this happens to me as well. like.... very VERY slow. sometimes just timeing out altogether. happens to me for a little bit, then goes back to normal. usually at like 10:30 at night for me. 'tis odd =/

Yeah.. I forgot to mention in previous post.. it happens at certian "peak" hours.. IE.. when people are getting off from school.. or when people are coming home from work.. or after dinner.. etc.. it comes and goes.. but there are points where it grinds to a halt.. Not on a dialup.. not the fastest, but i'm on a 1.5MB connection in a small town... So yeah.. shouldn't be grinding to a hault.. =/

Yep , 90% of them leechers with O posts .
