500gig fat32 **** up
to keep this short: Last night I tried to install ubuntu, I pick a partition.
well the drunk ass that I'm... I accidentally deleted the partition of my external 500gig fat32 harddisk.
This harddisk contained all my work, my school, my movies, my games, my images, over 100gig of programs. this all around 450gig of my lifework.
now for a fact I know that I didn't format this drive yet.
My guess is that the bootsector is ****ed and needs to be restored...
I just dont know what program to use...
i tried getting files back with hirens bootcd but thats not what im looking for I want to get my drive back, cause when I plug it in XP/Ubuntu/Vista don't see the drive.. (but in XP it does make a USB sound when I plug it in)
now what I ask is there a way to get my drive restored without any data loss?
If you help me and find a solution I have some free games stuff to you can pick:
LEGAL serials (you can play online with these, they are fresh I work in a gameshop)
These are the ones I currently have to give out
CoD2
UT2004
Quake 4
maybe some other just ask and I'll see.
Thanks In advance,
