    Re: what is the diff?

What Router you got? First, find out your Lan IP. Then put the same IP in internet Explorer but with .1 in the end: For example:
    Your IP: 192.168.178.23
Type this in your Internet Explorer: 192.168.178.1

Then you should see the Router Configuration Site

    Re: what is the diff?

underneth your router there May be a Internet address. Eg. 192.168.1.4

type that into your IE browser and then it MAY ask for a username or Password. Most Router Defualt username and Pass words are

    User: admin
    Password: password

then u should be able to do port forwarding in that .

I suggest using NetGear routers. i have allways used Netgear as a Router and i havent had any problems with it.

Also this site is pimpage http://portforward.com/
