What Router you got? First, find out your Lan IP. Then put the same IP in internet Explorer but with .1 in the end: For example:
Your IP: 192.168.178.23
Type this in your Internet Explorer: 192.168.178.1
Then you should see the Router Configuration Site
underneth your router there May be a Internet address. Eg. 192.168.1.4
type that into your IE browser and then it MAY ask for a username or Password. Most Router Defualt username and Pass words are
User: admin
Password: password
then u should be able to do port forwarding in that .
I suggest using NetGear routers. i have allways used Netgear as a Router and i havent had any problems with it.

yea im useing netgear as a wire router as i type on this laptop
the Default password for mine is 1234 so...blehh.
Also this site is pimpage http://portforward.com/
if you use that and still cant port forward then quit the internet.
Why not try setting up your computer as DMZ Host?
DMZ host? My router right now is a BT 205 ADsl Router, Even if i try the port forward website nothing works,<Which means i can't run wow emu without ham>. Can i get the netgear At a hardware shop are PC world?:P
Sorry i don't no what a DMZ host is
