Bodybuilding
(Note: This is mostly directed to male members)
I'm writing this, because I know that many gamers have a small social circle and are outsiders. But this also is something for "normal" guys without a nice body.
This "guide" will help you at boosting your social value, not at becoming a professional bodybuilder.
I got into bodybuilding around the age of 13. Back then I just made the exercises at home, which helped me much, but wasn't that effective.
At that time I was more of a shy guy (not an outsider though).
At the age of 14 I joined a gym and started working out very hard (DON'T DO IT! That age is just too early for heavy exercises and my body would've been "destroyed" if I hadn't stopped doing them with so much weight).
Here are my experiences:
ATTRACTION FROM GIRLS
I'm around 1,85m now. When I hit 80kg at 5% body fat (Stage 1), I noticed girls were getting more interested in me and giving me so called "Indicators of interest" ( Seduction Lair Blog: List of IOI's ).
At already 86kg and 6% body fat (Stage 2) those "Indicators" were getting less and I guess if I continued gaining weight, they would've even start looking at me like I was some animal (ask women if they find professional bodybuilders attractive).
You probably can't imagine how those stages looked, so here are some comparisons:
Stage 1: The character Tyler Durden ( http://pagesperso-orange.fr/argot/picture/fightclub.jpg )
Stage 2: Couldn't find a good example, but imagine something between Brad Pitt in the first picture and this guy http://www.hirepgym.com/images/Cobra/cobra%201.jpg
So start striving for the looks of Brad Pitt in "Fight Club", because girls will want to show you off with a smile on their face and there is nothing better than this (Okay, maybe there is) .
RESPECT FROM MEN
You get their respect immediately. As soon as you're seen most of them will respect you instantly simply because they don't want to **** with you.
Though some will dislike you and talk shit about you. I guess that's because they feel attacked, but those are not the guys you want to hang out with.
People in general will accept you faster and you will notice.
CONFIDENCE
After going through all that pain and discipline there is just one thing you feel: AWESOMENESS
You feel like being able to do everything, you feel dangerous, energetic and clean. You feel powerful. Not just physically, but also mentally.
Don't forget: Having muscles doesn't mean you can **** with anybody. Don't think you can fight with anybody smaller than you. Just avoid fights if they're not necessary.
HOW TO DO IT
Now that you've read all this, you sure wanna know what to do.
You don't need to get into the bodybuilding-world for that, but find a trainer, that looks like a bodybuilder and respect what he tells you. Someone that knows what how to do.
Secondly just don't do these things:
1: Overtrain and not resting enough (thing I did -.- )
2: Undertrain (You gotta have discipline and go to the gym at least 2-3 times a week)
3: Not know how to train (GET A TRAINER!)
4: Go to McDonalds after training (You gotta eat the right things and take supplements like protein-shakes. There are many guides out on the net about this)
5: Not getting better (Of course you gotta increase the weight you push with the time)
SUMMARY
Choose a qualified trainer and follow his instructions! You won't see your muscles growing after one training unit but don't give up.

CONCLUSION
Your HEALTH, WEALTH and RELATIONSHIP situation becomes better and obviously it changes the way you and others look at yourself.
I highly recommend bodybuilding. Look at it as a placement in your life.
