Laptop suggestions

I am looking to get a new laptop for playing games mainly WoW but also needs to be under $1000 looking for at least the recommended system requirments to run WoW so I can have smooth gameplay. I was looking toward acer but haven't really heard much about them as far as quality and customer service goes. Thinkpad was also a choice and mabey a HP.

But my mom said to just get a new comp and she will pay for more of it... so I am looking at either Acer, HP, or IBM
