No... I was actually in the Horde starting base before the gates opened. No illusion.
They kicked my ass before the game started, too... which surprised me because I thought I'd still have the Preparation buff... have to go back and examine that bit.
I will likely put some sort of teaser for this in my upcoming video... if my computer ever gets fixed.
