My hunter pet bugged in Shatt

Was standing in Shatt the other day, and a druid sent me a tell wanting to know why Gutripper was my pet. I told him I tamed the bird earlier but why? So he sent me this screenshot lol, I did not see this on my end but to him the bird was still gutripper even after I renamed him.

well so far all my pets have done this. Last night my scorpid somehow would not go through the door way in shatt to the scryer bank. The guy I was grouped with seemed to be the only one that saw it or I guess noticed it and said something. Not sure how you couldn't notice a pet that large.
