[JUDGE] Quality enough for a sig service?

I was just wondering, before I Start promising anyone anything. If you think I have enough experience/skill/style in my photoshop to create signatures worthy for those of mmowned (not just l337 ones either!)

Please take into consideration I have only had photoshop for about 3 weeks. Although I think my stuff is decent, I am unsure about it's true quality

Here is some of my work thus far:

    Signatures:

I have more, but it'd be wayy to much .

    Animations:

I have about 3 of these, this one was the only one on photobucket and isn't the best. hehe

    Avatars:

Actually only started these two days ago.

Alright there is a piece of my work. So would you want a sig/avatar from me? Don't be brutal, but be honest! - Peace, Shiny

#1,#2, and the last sig are sort of plain. The rest I like. For 3 weeks in photoshop they are good.

to be perfectly honest i think you need a bit more practice, but at the end of the day offering someone a service, they know what youre work is like so they have an idea of what to expect, any kind of service is good and helpful to the community.

regarding the sigs, for having photoshop 3 weeks it shows you have been trying, i think for future you need to try blend the render a bit more with the background so it doesnt stand out as a render. e..g no 2.

add lighting, and/or use the burn/dodge tool to create patches of dark and light in the sig, ( if you look at alot of the 'good' sig makers around the edges of the sig they have darkened it so it draws us into the focal point and looks as though the sig has depth.) these should help with the depth. and you need to work on your text on alot, the text stands out a bit too much (i know on some its supposed to e.g. 1 and 2) .
but i think some of your sigs are preety nice, so if you keep going with it and looking at tutorials i think you could get better quite quickly as you've picked up the basics quite quickly.

Not everyone needs top notch signatures. I agree with carlosj, you need some more practice, but that doesn't mean you can't open a service anyway.

Give it a try, there's no better judgement than trying it out.

Wow, Thanks for all the input guys. The only reason I opened the thread was to get a little insight on my recent work, and you guys delivered answers perfectly . I wanted to make sure that when I do start some sig/avatar service it would be of top notch. I might be opening one in about 2 more weeks, time enough for me to try different things.

BUT! If someone wants a sig/avatar right now just put in the regular specs (text, stock/render, and theme) and I'll try and make something. - Thankyou, Shinyshoes
