Sorry for "hijacking" your thread but this is how you do it.

Just put some colour on it and put it on hue. Then you can change it around with color overlay, like this;

nots not what i did but thats nice.. i just used the hue/stauration i dont use color overlay, then history brush and dodge tool lol but your outcome is nice, i think i could do that my way
