Glass Ball Tutorial

Ok I decided to make a tutorial on making a cool glass ball...

First file>new

Next Select the...

Make a new layer.

Make a circle by holding down the shift key and dragging your mouse over.

Fill it in with a color, I chose blue...

Fill the Circle in

Now do Ctrl D
That will dis-select it..
Make a New layer
Make a selection as I did here

Select your gradiant tool..
Choose the color white and drag it downward.


Dis select (Ctrl D)
Duplicate the layer..
Move it down

Then Blur it
Which is under Filter


Now Hit Ctrl U
Use the exact same settings as I used here

Select layer 1 and go to layer style



Blend mode - Overlay
Opacity ~ 65
click OK

New layer..


and then do this




Now Fill it in with black


Dis-select

move it to where I did
and then move the layer just behind the background



hit ctrl F, this will do the blur again..

Set opacity to ~ 80% again


and your done! Congrats!
