Tut:Photoshop - Fire Text

Ok, my first tut it seemed people liked, so i decided to make a bit simpler ones for the "newbs".

Ok this one will be showing you how to turn text into Fire text.

step 1:
Open photoshop and create a new document of your size, for this tutorial I'll be using the size 300x160.

step 2:
Color your backround Black...

step 3:
Type Something.

step 4:
click on filter > stylize > wind >(leave default) ok

step 5:
now click on image > rotate canvas > 90 degrees CW
hit Ctrl + F (does your last filter settings which is in step 4)

step 6:
Repeat step 5 untill your canvas is back to the correct spot.

step 7:
You are going to apply the Ripple filter now. Filter > Distort > Ripple
Amount 100%
Size Medium

step 8:
Click Image --> Mode --> Grayscale and confirm the Flatten dialogue
Click Image --> Mode --> Indexed Color
Click Image --> Mode --> Color Table.. and choose Black Body
DONE:

save the text into a .tiff or a .jpeg file and copy/paste it into ur newly designed background....

im having a problem when trying to add text the tet is comming out really small even when i got it on full size
