Getting back in to the swing of it

Figured I would see what I remember with the good ol' Photoshop.

Here's my first real image I've made in a couple of years.

Two things that I would suggest:

1) Get rid of the border on the left and right side, just keep it top and bottom, it will look much nicer. The left side border draws too much attention, and the right one would look weird without a left, so just take 'em both out.

2) Add another color to the scheme. The yellow theme isn't bad, I just feel it's too bland. Maybe like a green would be nice, or a deep orange/red combo. The more colors the better, so long as they work together and don't clash in the wrong way.

From someone who is experienced with trying to get back into the swing of things though, this is really good, the composition/lighting is great and the flow is nice, keep it up man.
