Hello! I've been working on this blog/portfolio for a couple of days. I've used Microsoft's ASP.Net MVC3. I've integrated the website with BlogEngine.net
So, here's the link to the site (feel free to comment on the posts too!)
The reason I'm posting this is to get some feedback on the design, and what you think I should change, colours, etc.
So any criticism and suggestions about the site will be appreciated, and you might just get rewarded
The website isn't 100% complete, the About and Portfolio pages are still being worked on, so for the moment there is the contact form there to fill up the space ^^

Some critique on your potfolio;

You should definitely alter your typography, serif fonts are a no-no for content.

I also think the contrast with the background is too high, try a lighter shade of blue? Gray works too.

Thanks for the comment, I agree with the serif fonts on the site, I usually have sans-serif, I think I just didn't get around to changing the font, so it's stuck with the default one. I'll change it for sure later
And for the background, I was supposed to have a light blue glow on the header, but I wasn't sure how I would do it without having a massive image.
I'll change the shade to a slightly lighter colour as well.
