I like where you're going from here - the vexel elements look a bit bland though, it would be cool with some shadows/highlights or possibly a mix of 3d elements to spice things up.

I didn't know that when you did Save As for a PSD file, it ****ed the original PSD, so when i re-sized the image to 1000x1404, i completely lost the full image quality. Still have the .PSD, but now it is about 3x smaller =/

Touched it up a bit, gave it a bit of a blue tint, and overlayed some gradients to the vexel pieces. Any better? Couldn't find any place/shape that would fit for the 3d option you suggested, so I just left that out.
