[Request] Band Logo - Paypal

I know its not much but if you make one I like Ill send you 5 bucks or so on Paypal.

What I want: I need a logo made for my band, the bigger the better so It can be scaled down to fit different projects with the band. My idea for the logo is to look like the text is flesh ridden with some type of plague. Some words that I would like to come to mind when one looks at the logo is puss, bile, rot, decay, sick, etc. As for a font style, something similar but not too similar to the carnifex logo which can be viewed here: http://www.victorypresscenter.com/ar...ifex_Logo1.jpg

The band name is Bride of the Embalmer I want the text to be laid out like

Bride
of the
Embalmer

Once complete just add a watermark or something so you can post it here and I will decide which I want, then I can pay you and you can send me the copy without a watermark.

Metal Font like that is not a 5 dollar job, you have to drawl it and I refuse to do so. Start talking $100 or so which is how much time it's going to take me to draw and scan/vectorized for you and I can get it done for you.


Plus, I can't use any of my blood/guts vectors for some cool free font since you're only paying $5... So, I can't help you.

Not really, the work involved is quite advanced as Tenche said. Not to mention it's very time consuming. $100 might be on the edge of too much for a logo like this, but on the contrary $5 is way too little. (Very big maybe, I'm positive that any professional company can pay you way more than that to basically represent your entire company).

Im sorry if It seemed insulting to offer 5 bucks, but usually I don't pay for stuff on here its usually just a friendly request. Currently working part time minimum wage I won't be spending much money on anything any time soon. If anyone is still up for it thats cool, if not its cool too.

I guess my reply came off as a bit harsh and I apologize.

However, $100 in the design world is not that much for a decent logo. $200 or more is what you're looking at for something absolutely original and fresh. This is your identity and what people are going to see first up, if it looks like trash or like an amateur made it then your band/company will as well.

For example, here is a logo I made for a Film guy who does a ton of horror and special effects. The back logo was made up of simple font and vectors and was a $100 job since I didn't sit there and drawl for an hour or make text for his font from scratch, I didn't charge him more.



I think I'll give your project a try, however, I cannot promise anything SUPERB and WOWZ - lol

Actually it's more of a bad habit as in Art School I was never very good at drawing, and being from the south I always called it drawl to poke fun.

I've PM'd you the PSD files for Photoshop if you want to make color changes. The PSD files also have the 2000x1500 300dpi for Print if you want to throw it on a T-shirt or resize from there.

I like the gray one a lot. Though the lips in the second version is really great, I'd love to see the lips in a darker gray on the first version.
