could you help me?

i cant seem to find a X brush for adobe photoshop cs4.
and also. how do i change brush preset settings such as angle and roundness jitter

I use CS2 and on here make sure you have your brush tool selected then in the top right there is 3 tabs saying "Brushes" Tool Presets" and "Layer Comps" Click the brushes tab then all your settings will be there, atleast i hope its the same on CS4 as it is CS2 lol.

As for the brush if you mean an actual brush to the shape of an X you can make your own.

start a new document in PS around 50x50 pixels, Delete the white BG if you cant do this check your layers tab and the BG layer may have a padlock on, just double click this then click on on the popup box. After deleting your BG grab the text tool and bold font one thats easy to read, make your text box then simply type in the letter X expand the size to fill the layer, Also make sure its in black and try n get it center.

Then go Edit -> Define Brush Preset name it X brush or what ever you want to call it and click ok, then simply go to your brush tool, open your brush tab click brush presets then down at the very bottom should be your X brush, change the scattering and what not to what you please.
