My first couple of times doing sigs on photoshop. I'm still a noob, a big noob, but I think they are "ok". Feedback would be good. n some good brush recommendations would be awesome.

1. Looks kinda pasted together.
2. Looks like your getting somewhere with the logo.
A nice thing to keep in mind with the actual text of a sig, is to keep it simple. the whole sphere distort filter (i am guessing that is what it is) doesnt fit too well. A nice thing I like to do with font, it use white and overlay it and play with the opacity settings of the layer, and duplicate it and adjust the layer style to give it a nice look.
also, dont be afraid to use a large image for your background and smudge it around, it will help you get away from using flat colors.

Hm alright, thanks for the feedback man. The first one is pretty much pasted lol, I used your guide to do the 2nd one mostly. Ill try to use diff sizes of backgrounds and such. Thanks.
I like to use my render image, and just smudge it around, that way it keeps a general color scheme in order, and it gives it a texture

I suggest you to use some C4D's and scale the render and put it in the middle.
