I'm an amateur web and graphic designer and I specialize in designing website layouts. What I've made can be found at The Psychotic Factor » Portfolio (still gotta add my forum signatures, which are rather mediocre).

I'm also looking for ideas so if you've got a theme for a new template I should make, please tell me. The real problem I have is finding stock images for my templates (depending on what it is, pictures of like metal, parchment was bloody hard to find too lol).

I don't know if anyone particularly needs a website template, this is mainly to show off my portfolio lol (I'm planning on doing courses in graphic design, starting next year, then I want to study 3D Design). If I make a template for you then you will obviously get access to it, for free (and as a rule, I don't generally give out the same template to more than one person).

Both requests are hard but I'll see what I can do. The second is hardest because I'm not much in the way of forum avatars and signatures, sorry. I hate them which is why I haven't uploaded them, I'm so crap at them...

The layout will be a challenge but I'll see what I can scrounge up for ya, Ease. Also note I won't be able to copy it image to image, because that would be copyright infringement and I don't really want to start up a record when I don't even have a job in the business yet, lol.

An Age of Conan template I had actually looked into. It's just hard to find textures for MMOs (especially World of Warcraft... couldn't find many decent, easy to edit ones). An AoC one is very possible, just never expect my layouts to look exactly like the original.

If anyone can supply me with stock photos or places that offer them I will be greatly appreciated. You'll also get +rep for furthering me towards my career choice, lol.

Hey Lazeka, i want to try webdesign, too maybe not Templates but more designing, do you have any tutorials/tips for a beginner?^^

Narudan, web design is pretty easy. Learning HTML is bloody easy and I can teach you if you'd like. It's not overly difficult, there's a lot of tools to help you out (Adobe Dreamweaver for one, lol).

Gimme a PM if you'd like to know more. We'll sort something out, I'm sure. As for the whole, UPS edit thing. The rotation of the "p" would work, except that you have to remove the "u" and then somehow copy the background gradient.

Lots of requests, lol. Web design is easy though, it's fairly basic. I just ask people to bare with me because I'm no teacher, I'll also use examples a lot. Easier that way.

EDIT: Just realised, there is two forms of web design. HTML coding and CSS coding. I do both of course when I make templates and CSS is pretty easy to learn but much harder than HTML, in my opinion. I consider it more advanced HTML because it's not needed to make basic webpages, it is needed if you want to customize your layout. Like if you wanna change what fonts your site shows, or what the background or font colours are. Or what the links look like etc. Then you could use CSS (because it's so much more convenient).

If anyone does want me to give them advice on learning stuff like that. It'd be helpful to know what you wanna learn. Do you want to make basic webpages and just learn basic HTML or do you also want to make your own designs and learn CSS as well. The best advice I can offer is that most CSS can be learned by trial and error. That's how I learned, I used other peoples templates that they made and offered for free and then I, over time, started to edit portions of the style sheets to suit my own needs until I eventually do what I do now.

So yeah, if you wanna learn my advice is learn basic HTML and then use free templates + trial and error to learn Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). That's what I did and in all honestly, that's how people learn most programming languages. It really does work.

Try again mate, sorry. I've been having problems with updating Wordpress. Updating it seems to screw up the Friendly URLs option but it works now.
