[TUT] How Fiddyx does his Sigs

A Tut, on how I do MY sigs. =D

1. Open a new Document, any size

2. Pick your render, and when its cutout, put it into the document.

3. Press (Ctrl+T) to resize it, make it big so it covers up the Sig area.

4. Once thats done, apply the transformation

5. Copy the layer, (Ctrl+J)

6. On the COPIED layer, go to Filter>Distort>Wave, and hit randomize once and press OK

7. Then press (Ctrl+E) to merge the two layers.

8. Now press (Ctrl+J) AGAIN

9. Then go to Filter>Distort>Ripple, Set it to 477%, Then press OK

10. Merge the two layers. (Ctrl+E)

11. Take a smudge brush, provided below, and lightly smudge the layer, little by little, til you have smudged the enite thing.

12. NOW put your render in, resize it (Ctrl+T) until its how you want it.

13. With a 9-13px round smudge brush, lightly smudge the edges to blend into the background

14. Now duplicate it (Ctrl+J)

15. Now take the smudge brush provided below, and smudge the entire render, not too lightly, but not to crazy.

16. Copy the original render (the one light smudged on the edges) and put it on the top.

17. Then on the new copied layer, i freestyle kinda from here, i use Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blue, Filter>Blur>Motion Blur, Filter>Blur>Box Blur.

18. Copy the original render (the one light smudged on the edges) and put it on the top.

19. Keep doing Steps 16-17, add in a couple Gradient Maps/Photo Filters/Other Effects WHAT EVER U THINK LOOKS GOOD, DONT USE THE SAME EFFECT TWICE!

[19b. Add in some C4D's if you'd like, set the blending mode to soft light, and if that looks bad... lower the opacity ]

20. Change the top layers blending mode to Soft Light

21. Now put in some text. Put it where it would look good on your sig. Lower the opacity until its kinda of blended in.. BUT STILL LEGIBLE. (add some effects to it if you want by double clicking the text layer)

22. Add borders, any type of border is fine, make the color of it the color that has the majority of the sig. Set all the borders blending layers to soft light.

CONGRATS it should come out as a decent sig
