il give it a 7/10, its a great color, nice render of mario[even though i hate mario]
but maybe if it were red on the background i would like it more
but im not the only person to judge
i must admit, u have gotten alot better

nice job, id give a 7.5/10. you work is obviously improving which is nice to see.
regarding the sig i feel that it all ties in well together to one theme (kinda icy, cold) but it would be nice to have a bit more colours in it to provide a contrast against the "cold" feel or just in general to match with the render a bit more.
nothing major but in parts would be nice to have some warm oranges and yellows, perhaps around mario (blurred slightly) which will help with depth.
in places e.g. marios left hand i think youve brushed to much over the render but in other parts its also nice as it helps blend the render with the background, i think you just still need to find a better median.
text works well in the light but i still feel your "light" needs a bit more work to give it a realistic conical shape, try changing the shape of it and softening it a bit more. also to contrast against the light and really emphasise the depth try darkening the right side of the sig without the light a bit so it helps with shadows and depth.
just keep on trying, your really improving but theres always more that can be improved on.

Overall it's extremely nice, personally I have never tried that style, it's great to see you improve so much! <3 Mario anyways I was him on haloween twice irl haha Work on a bit more light, and maybe making him stick out just a bit more colorwise, I think the cooling filter you put on dampened him a lil.

red, nah..maybe use a low opacity eraser, and erase his colorful (red) bits just a tad, or two. Overall I like it, how'd ya make that background, brushing?

edit: Oh and those lines you used maybe erase the parts that go over his face, not the entire line, but the part that goes over his face.

edit again, what I mean to say, is on the layer with the cooling/blue filter, erase to show the red more haha. sry there

i used allot of grunge brushes started doing some brushing then put mario on then duped the brushing put that layer over mario then i use a splatter brush to brush out on 45 opacity to get im to come through
