Generating gold or to turn in quests does not work. It was a hoax from 4chan which spreaded widley. You can even look it up if you search for it. (/vg/ /nwg/)

You can clearly see in the linked video that right before the yellow boxes shows up at around minute 5, they testing the exact code posted on 4chan. You also can see there that it didnt work in the vídeo.

Yes you can posting in-game images, yes it still works pretty easely, but no you cannot generate gold or complete quest by this method.
