Actually don't auction house, just vendor. The AH economy right now is so ****ed and prices have dropped below vendor prices.

Harvesting is good but seems to be very limited. Nodes don't respawn fast enough.

Convince people to become neighbors, add farms/mines to their house, and set to 25/75 or at least 50/50 house loot distribution. Then just go cycle between all your neighbors, constantly mining.

How exactly do you add farms or mines to neighbour's houses? ;o and where do you decide the loot distribution of it? Thanks in advance

My friends have all said to focus on dual gathering, anything else is apparently not worth it for a leveling character.

Your neighbor has to add them. Tell them to add/upgrade their mines and that you'll do the same. The loot allocation setting is somewhere in your control panel at your house.

Either way, convince a bunch of people to become neighbors and 50/50. Most people can't mine their mines in the middle of the night anyway, so it's advantageous to everyone (but more to the people who actively go around mining).

Which is is why you do use the AH. Place cheap buy orders for items from lazy idiots then turn around and vendor them. I made my first couple plat doing that.
