    [Guide] PC Security Key Authenticator

Credits to Reffotsirk for the idea. He created his own thread (http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/star...icator-pc.html about this, but I found his guide difficult to follow as it was kinda complicated, so here is a much simpler way to do it...

PC Based Security Key for SWToR

*** WARNING: Once this thing is attached to your account, you have to call Bioware if you ever want to remove it!!!! ***

Why would I want to do this?
Attaching a security key to account gives you an extra layer of protection against keyloggers, and it also lets you access the security key NPCs, which sell the following things:
    • Exchange Bandit Mount
    • Fleet pass (works the same as the emergency fleet pass)
    • A set of orange/custom dancer gear that looks pretty sweet on female chars
    • Customization kits for some companions
    • A mouse droid pet
    • A weird singing droid pet thing

    How to do it:

    1) Download and install 'Youwave' (Android emulator software):
YouWave Android Full [ updated ] | suryadewa.com | free download, movies, software, news, music, tips, tricks, lifestyle, Health, Seo, Mobilephone
... of go to YouWave, Android on Windows PC if you want the legit version. I suggest you get the cracked version though, because the trial only lasts 7 days, and after that you won't be able to login to your swtor account anymore cos you wont have the security key)

    2) Download the security key app file:
Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

    3) Move the file you just downloaded and put it somewhere where it won't get deleted (I just put it in C:\key\ folder)
    3) Open Youwave, and click File -> Path to Apps and set it to wherever you put the app file
    4) Click on the SWToR icon in Youwave. A screen should popup asking you for a serial number and an activation code. You can get these by logging into the account section of swtor.com
    5) It will give you two codes (serial number, and activation code). Enter these codes into the boxes in Youwave. Click OK.
    6) Grats.

Does anyone know if this will work on multiple pc's, i.e. desktop and laptop. I'm assuming it will only be one key/app per account.

I would not recommend setting up your security key this way. I did it and I'm having nothing but trouble since. Most of the time the key it gives me when I start it up doesn't work and I can only get it to work after manually syncing the time for the app.

I figured out my problem. If you have an authenticator on your account and get it removed, you can't add a new one at this time. You always get a invalid code message
