I am looking for contributors !
Hi guys, I just found your forum today, although i'm not new to emu mmos (since EQ1). Is there any directions really needed for installing what you have in your directories or is it just replacing said files? Also, what do you need help on?
What are you talking about ?
Aaaaand the repo is gone. Already the 2nd Emu (or am I missing something) which got uploaded on github and then removed shortly afterwars.
I'm already kinda in doubt, if there are working emus (no matter what state, be it sandbox etc)....or maybe yamashi is going to re-upload it later on?
I am refactoring it, I will not release everything just a few bits.
I just want to show that I got a lot of things done, I could just release binaries aswell and you would have a better global view of what I have.
If he wants to refactor it, let him.
I'm fine with that. I mean, the only thing I would do with the source code, would be, to compile it for Windows and Linux and maybe look at this and that.
Where I would like to know:
Is your Emulator using a Database for storage, like Character Creation, Items etc (if implemented) and what kind of Storage? MSSQL or MySQL? Or something else?
404 on git?
I found this as well
https://github.com/emulatornexus/swtor-emu
What can we do with this from here?
The Emulatornexus one is very feature-less, only allows log-in so far, as far as i know and the Emulatornexus repo wont be updated anymore.
Not to mention, that the Emulatornexus repo won't work with 1.2
Yea the RSA key is now encrypted (took me 20 seconds to figure it out, shouldn't be too hard, and only one opcode changed) so it's not that complicated to edit.
And I will just release the encryption and maybe a few opcodes and the functions to parse them.
PS : We use MongoDB and ODBC database.
Forgive me, I haven't really done an Emu MMO since Everquest 1. I am so out of the loop - but willing to learn if there's gruntwork to be done
Incidentally, is there a how-to on how to utilize these files with the full patched version? I don't know what steps to take - Also i'm not sure I updated since 1.2, I have the one from about 2 weeks ago, if that helps lol
