I have evidences that they were able to detect that I attached a DLL to the game, they are the one who told me.
The game's architecture may be good programming wise, but design wise it's not. It's insane to reach 200 kB/s up and down, not many people have that kind of bandwidth especially in the US.

.... 200kB/s isn't really that much tbh (as far as internet connections are concerned), in the US we actually have quite a few better internet packages than that

When I lived in the US I had AT&T and in LA, the fastest connection I could get was 3mbs/512kbps...
Sad to see that the almighty united states have such a weak network... In europe it's not rare to see people with connections up to 1gbps both down and up (30€/mo unlike the 100$/mo you pay for unstable, weak connections in the US) !

i got a 100/10 Mbit line, kinda slow with only 10Mbit upload, but @ the price of 14€ a month i can live with it Sweden has a good amount of options for broadband suppliers

Not sure if it is dead or not, but you didn't need to post. If someone had something done, they probably would have posted here (in a new thread of course). A few private servers have been shut down by Trion already, so we may have to wait some time before any private servers get out there. WoW had lots of private servers shut down in classic, but they eventually gave up. They still shut some down every here and there though.

Says "unable to find file specific" when logging in with the launcher.

And yes my launcher is in the rift folder.
But my rift folder is beta, will theat make a difference?

200kbs is basic dsl in major cities .. heck basic cable is 10mbit/1mbit with some cable companies even offering faster then that as basic.. so while rural areas might not hit 200kbs often i would say the majority does quite easily

yes but how fast do they cap out thier daily bandwidth? all i ever hear from my euro friends is they gotta download at night since they get capped during the day to turtle speeds
