No, that initial warning wave was likely a direct detection by their anti-cheat. It hasn't been activated since then as far a we can tell... plus we're all using the limited user method anyways. There are probably detection vectors that it won't prevent against, but windows itself is a great line of defense.

Oh that's interesting, as I recall there was the warning wave, and then maybe like 5 months later I knew someone who was still using it got banned, but maybe he was botting or rmting as well

Does anyone know if they ban in waves or soon after detected ? I dropped a hh in ssf and kind of thinking stopping to use third party. Is it useless as if they flagged they will ban some time later anyway ?

Or other way of asking. Does anyone know of a case where someone was banned weeks after he stopped using third party

I think significantly delayed bans are usually due to RMT and not third party applications. Detection is a game of cat and mouse though, so there is nothing saying this won't change or hell... even already changed. Using ANY third party program can result in a ban and each have their own level of risk. If you are scared of losing your account, the safest bet is to always play vanilla.

for ahk/radar hack its only account ban, and you are allowed to make a new one.

Got 2 of my accounts banned for exileapi, both after first weekend of the league (1 last league, 1 this). Reason: "Third party software". Both accounts was at least 1 y.o. + I didnt rmt and used limited user method. Only plugin i used was Expeditionicons, like nothing more at all. Crazy.

What client did you use? GGG one, Steam, Epic? Did you not use radar/healthbars/other pre-built plugins at all? If you did use them how much delay did you use between actions?

Also how many hrs/day did you play, did you use any exploits, etc.

GGG standalone. idk like 12+ h a day, usual league start. No exploits, no bullshit. I farmed maps/logbooks with expeditionicons plugin, didnt use anything else, not even flasks or radar.

I have used every version of HUD since forever and never had a problem. I got banned a couple leagues back for cluster crafting with Ash when they first implemented mouse teleport detection. Since then, I've been getting banned at every league start. Last league, I was boss rushing T17 with Exile API and a radar plugin, and nothing else. This league, I was only using expedition icons. Even if I was flagged, they probably have a way to detect HUD now even with limited user method. Do I need to change my PC or use an HWID spoofer, or should I stop using soft completely? I don't know. They just farm irl currency from me at this point.

That’s true, but it’s still unclear how a moderator detects the use of exileapi without any imitation of human actions.
If anyone has successfully dealt with having their stuff flagged, I would appreciate any help. Maybe someone can recommend an HWID spoofer or another method to change the hardware and mac IDs. If possible, I would prefer not to change PC components or use a VM. And of course, I understand that I need to use a VPN. cheers
