Run PoE as a limited user

The Korean server is accessible only through the Internet. This is a method of accessing and logging in to the game using the Poe loader of GGG, what should I set to access Poe through login on the Internet?

By "internet" do you mean through a web browser? If so, something like ExileAPI won't work for you anyways. GGG may not be able to run anything with their anticheat in that sort of play space... so there would be no reason to mess with limited user.

That said, maybe the Kakao version has their own anticheaat somehow? Like if they force you to use their launcher or something. Then you could try launching it as limited user, but there is no guarantee they aren't using something low level.

HELP!
When i run the runas command, nothing happens.
I reinstalled windows 2 times with different builds (original 20H2 and modified 21H1) and nothing helps.
The Secondary Log-on service is running.
If you enter in CMD just writes - "Attempt to launch"

I had the same problem as you and I found a fix for it. In my case, I didn't fully set up the 2nd windows account correctly.

So, make sure to sign into the 2nd account normally to set it up completely. If it still doesn't launch it then reinstall the game and the runas command should work then.

Not sure of the specifics you are talking about... but simply ensuring that your limited user is not an administrator should be sufficient. PoE run as the limited user should only be able to access VERY limited information about binaries. They shouldn't be able to identify suspicious programs... and even if they do locate one they shouldn't be able to get its directory information.

I've disabled the limited user from accessing the folder which contains gamehelper, and instead of trying to make a shortcut that uses runas, I just changed the localgroup settings in windows 10 to let me run any program as another user by rightclicking. Should I see pathofexile running under the limited user under the 'Users' tab, or only under the 'User Name' under the details tab on task manager?

Getting some weird behavior on my limited user - the game seems to crash immediately when run it as any other Windows account other than my main.
As in, it doesn't even open up the launcher or a loading screen.

Launching the game normally works without any problems.

I tried logging in with the limited user in Windows and running the game normally and saw the same behavior - instant crash.

Tried the PackCheck just in case, but didn't really help.
Also tried deleting everything in the My Games/Path of Exile + AppData/Local+Roaming for that user, but still no dice.
Another weird thing I noticed - upon running the game as another user, production_Config.ini gets created, but is empty.
Nothing in Client.txt either.
The crash is logged in the Event Viewer, but no helpful information there.
Tried creating a new user - same thing.
This also looks to be specific to PoE - anything else I try to run as a different user works fine.

I had no issues running the game as another user last league, so I'm not sure what might have happened between then and now.

Anyone else experienced something similar?

P.S. Using standalone launcher.

EDIT:
Finally found the issue.
The user was missing modify/write permissions for the PoE game folder.
My suspicion is that the game crashes while trying to write to the Client.txt log.
Leaving this here in case someone else also encounters this.

For anyone experiencing issues with loading up different user in windows 11 and it says username/password are incorrect:

I just created another new account in windows and made it a standard user with a password, not microsoft account. Worked immediately.
