Hello. So this is really interested. First, I don't understand how people can ask how this works, since everything is stated in the first post :s
Unfortunately this does not work for Exiledbot, but that's understandable when you think about it. I have issues however with F5-version. When I press F5 it seems like it makes a screenshot and put's it over the window instead of blacken the screen out. My Bot is on VMWARE btw and uses PoESmoother. I still have to test it with ExiledBuddy.
I do get some errors after compiling in VS2015Community, but that's probably because you have made it in VS2003 and the conversion might have f*'ed it up. I'm not a C++ user and installed VS2015 to compile this btw, so there might be solutions but I have hardly any knowledge on how (VS)C++ works.

(you might want to upload a compiled version if possible)
I'm going to try it on Exilebuddy and see what the result it.
Hey Jesper. Thanks for telling me wrong
It's probably that my compiled version is bad somhow. Can't explain anything else. If you're willing to pm me your compiled version, please send me.
But I do wonder what I'm doing wrong whilst compiling. Can't figure it out.
hi Jesper can you pass me your compiled dll seems that i have errors on compiling those files not sure what ive done wrong thanks
Simple to use.
1. Download visual studios 2015 or 2017(I downloaded 2017)
2. Unrar "poe_nullrender_F5KeySwitch.zip".
3. Run "proxydll.sln" (It'll open in Visual studios
4. In visual studios, hover over "Solution 'proxydll' (1 project)", Right-click and "Build Solution".
5. A new folder will be created called "release", copy the files inside it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile or wherever your poe folder is
6. Run PoE and if the screen is black press F5, if it's not then press F5 to make it turn black or freeze the screen(same effect).
If you download VS2017 you'll need to "Retarget Solution" You'll get a pop up to do so when you open it, press OK or You simply Right-Click proxydll and "Retarget project". ( Should look like this )
Sadly this seems to be patched or something. it was working a few weeks ago for me and now it just black screens and even the bot that used to use it without issue cant play anymore.
This is the F5 version not sure about the "normal" version.
How does it work properly in VMware?
may need to upgrade, the latest version will be an error
Downloaded the latest version and the F5 version is not working for sure
Makes me really sad because when it was working the bot worked lag free
Thanks a lot poster. He's got quite a good reputation on the forums, for good reason, seems like a generous guy.
On another note, I noticed the f5 version doesn't toggle, it works because the screens black, but having f5 would really help me a bunch for muling. Can anyone provide details on how to fix it ourselves?
It's supposed to black the screen, its a null renderer. I just press f5 and I can see what the bot is doing, press f5 again and it freezes in that same image while still working in the background. Compiled with Visual Studio Community 2017 Version 15.2, retargeted the solution, copied the dll out of the release folder. Ran like a champ.
