Hello there any tips what i could do to make betrayal encounters less laggy?

Thank you for this program, it makes poe run much smoother on my potato computer.

The only thing that is giving me unbearable issue is pitch black darkness in certain areas. Is there a way to make it lighter?

I am using the simple start version for now and I just have shadows disabled. Can you tell me which modification is making the pitch black? Is it shadows, fog/rain, dark mode? Which one can I enable, but not see pitch black darkness? Especially during delve. Completely pitch black, but at least fps is awesome! I'd rather take a medium than one or the other though.

Removed for now dark enviro..it creates too much confusion. The option is still there but is empty, not sure what to add instead right now.

Firestorm - anyone know where the trails and smoke is for firestorm - Cant figure out where the file is for it - ive gotten rid of most of the efx on it already - just the smoke trails remain

The older version of Smoother had an option to turn firestorm into just seeing the ball drop and everything else removed - Thats what Im looking to achieve

You're in luck, I still have old smoother files from like 2.6 and it still had firestorm files back then. You'll need to find on your own what was changed and do it manually on new files, but here you go. Firestorm.zip

Hi, I've been using the free version of your program which makes the game run much smoother. A few weeks I've been using it, but now when I go into poe, it has all these errors that pop up. Can anyone help me get into game again so I can play? Do I need to reinstall? I hate that because it takes many hours...

As soon as I open the game, before loading screen pops up, this is the first error box that comes up:
"invalid vector <T> subscript"

Following that, there is a bunch of error boxes that pop up looking like this:
"Reference count for loaded resource FONTPMinglu& is 1" <--- example

Can someone help me real quick so I can play? Or just tell me to reinstall so I can get on with it, though I'd rather not.

I assume it is this program causing the error as I am only using one other program "poenulleffects_" which doesn't have font options on the menu. I did see something to do with font on the smoother menu though, and because one of the errors has the word "font" in it, I assume it is this program causing the issue.

Pretty sure free smoother does not modify fonts. Anyway in main poe folder there is file called PackCheck.exe. If you use that it'll check ggpk files for any corruption and redownload as needed, it's pretty much reinstall but quite a bit quicker.

I've tried reinstalling and running packcheck, neither worked. Everytime I log in, a bunch of those boxes will pop up and when I click accept to 20 or so of them, poe will crash.

Anyone know the problem?

try reinstalling your GPU drivers

there are several posts about this in the official forums so it isnt a PoESmoother issue. Good luck

on the free version every time i tick the no shadows box, my PoE goes completely dark, only the lights from MTX, waypoint etc are visible. Am I doing something wrong?

Use a new Content.ggpk...packcheck can't fix that. Make a back up always ffs.

Use a new clean Content.ggpk...best option. And ofc, make a back up of that.
