    Exiled Bot Public Beta

    Now fully working with last game update (2.4.0b)

    Hi!!
    After leeching ton of stuff from these forums during years, I decided to add my own small contribution.
    Exiled Bot is a bot for the game Path of Exile developped in c++.
    It can do a lot of stuff : Zone cleaning, custom pickit, item selling, custom skills configuration, boss farming, maps farming, questing, and even more.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    First of all, for some obvious reasons, DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR MAIN ACCOUNT NOR ON HARDCORE CHARACTER!!

    IMPORTANT : You need to install DirectX End-User Runtime. You can download it Here

    1. Run the bot in admin mode. Then you need to select a process where to inject it. It can basically be any x86 process, the process needs to be RUNNED IN ADMIN MODE !!.
    2. Once bot is attached and GUI pop, configure parameters. You can check config.ini, skills.ini and pickit.ini files for more infos, everything is pretty self-explenatory or you can read the comments when it's not.
    3. You don't understand how something works? Hover your mouse over it and you'll get some informations!
    4. Launch the game.
    5. IMPORTANT : Put the game in 800x600 resolution windowed.
    6. IMPORTANT : "Close all panels" key needs to be bound on SPACE (default).
    7. To make the gem leveling work, you need to disable the "Quest Tracking" (Options/UI).
    8. To avoid picking thrash items, you should enable the "Key Pickup" option and disable the "Always Highlight" (Options/UI).
    9. Start the bot, it should log and enter in the specified zone.
    10. Have fun =)
    11. Pause and unpause the bot by pressing F12
    12. You can reload your ini file during runtime as well by pressing F11

    We are releasing this public beta version because we felt that it was much more cool to share this kind of stuff with other people!!
    I'll keep this topic updated with latest update.

If the user decides to continue the bot he/she can unpause the bot (F12) any time to continue it's work. Auto profile changer will be delayed until unpause (by user or by the counting down). There is no settings reload on idle because it's just a pause.

    Been running it for 10 minutes now in mudflats mostly, increased the attack distance value to 10 000 which made the character run about half the map almost.
    (increasing the attack distance can unfortunately also with a bit of bad luck have your character running towards a mountain)

    However some function that detects if a monster is hitting you and to strike that one down first would be good, cause the character could "target" a monster a bit away and on the way there gather another 5-6 monsters that was completely ignored hitting me.

    Also seems to be an issue if you for some various reason need to restart the bot you have to restart the game too - Or at least i had too.

    Perhaps the easiest place to try and make a path for the bot is the ledge as it could possibly follow the road and the monsters along it up to the exitportal, enter it, reset and redo?

    That said, i see great potential in this, so keep up the great work you've started here man!

    Thank you for your feedback and for your support.
    Regarding your comments, I released update 0.3a.
    Now you can pause and restart the bot whenever you want by pressing space bar (I removed esc key which was buggy).
    We liked the idea of trying to follow the road on the ledge, we'll work on it!!

    You have to manually go into monsters, then when the bot will detect monsters he'll start locking and shooting them, and he'll loot the right stuff
    We have a forum on which you can explain in details the issue you encounter.

    If the bot's window close itself, it's normal, just find monsters to shoot, try to re-launch the game also, maybe it can come from this.
    Also are you in windowed 800x600 resolution?

    yea i've done everything right you said. but it dont attk imma try to do that restart thing. thx

    updated: yea i tried restarting poe still doesnt work. do i have to be on taht act 2map?

    Nop, any map works, atm as we're working on the navigation thing, the mot isn't moving on his own, you have to bring him to monsters, once we'll have implemented the function to run thru the map is will do it alone.

    I invite you to come into our forums so we can help you and fix the problem, i don't really want to flood on this forum while we'll have no problem flooding on our.

    We're trying to make a movement function working thru dynamic map areas, however it's not that easy, we still need to reverse a bit to get the map cell's informations (walkable or not) then we'll be able to implement an algorythm calculating the best way to go from point A to point B.
    Once this is done, you'll be able to farm any map you want on the game,
    The only maps that could be a problem would be the maps with many gates where you need to find the good one to go to the boss area, but i don't really advise you to do maps with a bot anyway, unless your character can faceroll them...

    Thx for the reply. Once you get the bot moving I think ledge runs would be the simplest way. Since you enter in one place and then just follow the way until you hit the other end. Leave zone, make new instance and repeat.

    Even when entering from the WP it doesn't matter which way you go first.

    As said, once you get the bot moving, Ledge sounds like the simplest area (in my non-expert opinion).

    In fact you're right, it was the zone I planned to bot in myself before we even write the 1st code line
    Our bot can actually do all those things like reseting the instance of the map shooting monsters, looting, surviving and all the things. Implementing a function to stach items on full inventory shouldn't be hard, the only real challenging thing to do is the navigation on dynamic areas

    You didn't forget to change the resolution to 800x600? Using other resolutions will cause it to not attack/work.

    Docks would also be nice. Since you only get a max. drop penalty of 7.5%. Meaning it'll be nice for 5L/6L items regardless whether you're already lvl 70+
    Maybe I'll finally get a 5L or 6L item.... I could trade for them but I never found or crafted one yet.... but then, I haven't been playing for long yet...
