its a lot of fun - but i dont think they would ever be able to make this a pay to play game or even just sell it unfortunately.

This far I have reached level 30 with my cold (FP) wizard. I don't quite like how the movement works with attacking and the lore is a total mess,
apart from that, I think this game has potential to be a real competitor to Diablo 3. The passive skill tree has next to infinite possibilities and in
combination with various item builds - well, you can truly spend some time playing this.

I'm totally playing this, however haven't had time since the open beta! Played closed beta for quite some time, and I don't know what you guys are saying, but the graphics are a lot better than Diablo 3. This is what Diablo 3 should have been!

first - don't compare PoE with D3, it's a different game, only the genre is the same
second - what happens if you choose wrong passives? start over and over? good luck wasting time
third - the graphics are terrible ugly, movement and animations - also, aiming targets - worse than a game from 80's

in overall - it's kind of addicting game (what game is not?), good alternative for Action RPG and free to play - not that more of the gamers in the World can't afford a couple of bucks but there are still places where ppl can't legally buy games even if they want to...

Where D3 tried to appeal to everyone ever (personally why I think it's a ghost town now), PoE is targeting the hardcore gamers. Most of the arguments I see against it, choosing wrong talents and slower pace compared to d3 etc, are exactly what makes the game so fun for us. It makes everything you accomplish in game feel so much more satisfying. Games of today are far too forgiving, PoE is extremely refreshing.

PoE is everything D3 should have been and more. Play through D1 and then play PoE and its easy to see how much better PoE is compared to D3.

It's still very new to most people, open beta barely started a week ago. I'm too busy leveling and gearing up right now to start searching for exploits, I'm sure that's the case with most other people too.
