Ya so I was wondering if anyone still played and since i wanted to buy it, hows the server population is there atleast some people to talk/quest with?

If it was better than wow then people would constantly be switching from wow to aoc... is that happening? no. In fact, people are moving from aoc back to wow.

They merged the servers, so I'm quite sure you won't run around, lonely, in the world of Hyboria. And yeah, there's still plenty of people playing

Plenty of people play it. Myself i have never played, all i heard was bad things. And WOTLK has me occupied.

But i hear its decent, but there is alot more people going from AoC to WoW, then WoW to AoC

Current status of Age of Conan (I'm playing it currently, and I quitted WoW & War so I'm not responsable for any non-neutral comments)

+Most of the servers are really populated currently, I'm only playing on Fury, which is the highest populated server in Age of Conan (Europe) right now, and you will always find more then 3 instances in Khes
+The game is getting alot better, soon DX 10 will come in the game (Its currently on test-live realm). Alot of exploits, bugs, animations and much more are fixed. You probably won't recongnize the game when you haven't played it the last 4 months
+ Servers are getting more stable, alot of people are crying in the AoC chat, but for the current population on servers Funcom is doing a pretty good job on server-stability
+ Level 1-70 PvP is probably the nicest PvP you will have ever had on any game. Specially when you have a partner, alot of active people, you will never be safe for more then 5 min on a PvP server ;-)

- PvP in AoC has currently no... rules... sometimes its just mindless aoe spam, which really makes the game feel newbish. Althought, when you have even groups (6V6 for example) the game really shines
- Class balance is pretty screwed right now, only casters are invited to Sieges and group PvP for the simple reason that AoE is currently the only way to go when you wanna win something.

Some things that have changed the last months

* No more pre-loading combo's, when your "pre-attacks" of your combo don't hit anybody, the final hit will gain less damage... Alot less when only last attack hited the target (Which makes the game alot more challenging)
* Alot of pve/crafted gear added + PvP levels (and gear)
* As I said before, Hyboria feels alive, every zone has atleast 30-50 people in it.
* Alot of exploits/Bugs are fixed
* Next patch will add alot of class-balance fixes, so when your class was gimped a few months ago, it might even be powerfull now!

You are both saying cr*p... Since you can't call WoW better then AoC but you can't say AoC is better then WoW..

You can't just generaly say a game is better. You can personally find it better, but none can actually give a real answere to "what is better".

And ofcourse WoW has it alot easyier to make a game crash/Bug -free with 3?4? years xp... The codes are alot older and less complicated then AoC's.

Actually I can. WoW overall is a better game, its more mature (in terms of age) so they've had more time to get everything (most everything >_>) correct. Give AoC a few years and it might (might) be a game worth playing.
Graphics don't make the game.
Gameplay does.

Also you have no understanding of the complication of the code, so you can't say that AoC is more complicated (in terms of coding) than WoW or visa-versa
