to make this work its all about timing. rest and check the cooldown on rest. it starts at 5, when its down to 3 click on mount (try around with the timing, dont click mount the first ms after the cd is down to 3). then when the cd is down to 1, move forwards (same here, try around with the timing).
sometimes, when you only tab forward one time to move a tiny bit, youre not only instantly mounted after walking forward, but you also stand on your mount (you will sit when you move though)

To clarify this bug:
-You have to start activating any skill with a cast time
-Immediately activate your mount once
-Interrupt the skill, you should instantly be mounted

I usually do this with parasitic soul swarm on my necro. It seems to be somewhat reliant on the condition of the servers and terrain. You have best luck on fairly flat terrain (like roads in kesh) and when the server isn't too laggy. It does work, but takes a little experimenting to get it down. Remember only activate your mount once or it won't work.
