Anyone use PlayerAuctions? I have a question.

Hi.

A while back I got blocked from using paypal on PlayerAuctions website.
Anyone else have this problem? LOL, I did nothing fishy or wrong on their website except use it to make money, which is the point. The only thing I can think of is logging in under a VPN, which some websites don't like.

The customer support team at PlayerAuctions never reads any emails sent to them for any support at all. The only thing they tell me is they blocked me for security measures. This is the only information they will give me.

Anyone have any experience with this? Or is playerauctions just a scammer site that is set up so the hardhardcorecore gold farmers know where the demand is? ALso, maybe they blocked me from paypal because I bought a shit load of accounts and didn't sell any of the gold I made from them on their website. WTF??

Any insight would be much appreciated.

I've sold WoW Accounts, gold, and other stuff on there before.

To be honest I haven't had any troubles, I remember finding it difficult and time consuming to set up my Paypal and email with them initially, but after that everything is smooth sailing. Though they're legit, and I haven't ever gotten "scammed" (no one ever called back money after I made a transaction), they do have their negatives. As you've mentioned they lack a good support team, they charge pretty-high fees for their service as a middle man + checker, if you ever try to sell something, someone goes to buy it, and you decide to just cancel the deal (maybe because you had second thoughts or whatever), they'll actually still charge you ~$10 for the service fee, and lastly, depending on what it is, it can take a long while to finally receive your payment. The buyer gets their gold / service / account as soon as the seller is ready, but the seller has to wait anywhere from 2 days to a week to receive their payment, especially if the transaction is an account.

All in all, they're good, but I try to arrange / receive / ask for "paypal-gifts" instead because there are no fees and it's quick.

Hmm. Yea, I am thinking about setting up SKRILL by Moneybookers, but this seems like a very sketchy site (albiet the site is layed out wonderfully).
But...if I set up Moneybookers, what is to stop PlayerAuctions from banning that as well? I don't want to be mid transaction, or have my money in playerauctions-limbo only to get moneybookers blocked as well, leaving playerauctions with an outstanding balance to me which they don't have to pay. You know? They don't help you out, read support emails, and the live chat is a hoax (they tell you to email their "TRUST" department, hahaha).

Thanks for that Bromin, anyone else have any other input on PlayerAuctions, it just seems shitty that they blocked me from a legit money handling company when nothing fishy was going on. Oh well.

I've got troubles with those, their policy is pretty strange. Was selling some stuff there for a while, then my account got suspended because of so-called "off-site trading". Was trying to make them understand that no one will be selling using their site exclusively, but they didnt seem to care.
