Firefall beta

Hey guys,
for those of you that don't know Firefall it is an "MMOFPS" that has just begun beta testing. This game looks seriously amazing and I've been hanging out to play it for a while. If you get an invitation from the Firefall devs to participate in the beta you also get one invitation to send to a friend, unfortunately I didn't get a beta invite and was hoping that if anyone got an invite and didn't have a friend wanting it, if they'd be happy to send it my way I would be eternally grateful!

Is it me or does it kinda just look like a Team Fortress 2 rip? The PvP video I saw looks incredibly similar to the combat, especially the medic. What makes it an "MMO" exactly?

It's a persistent world like WoW etc. none of this lobby stuff. There's a levelling system. The only difference is that it's like FPS combat
