Skip the torch lighting - right behind the NPCs that give you the quests is a gate, jump up the left torch. From there you can use a "leap" skill (such as guadian's greatsword leap) onto the ledge on the left of the torch. You can then get behind the door and open it by initiating battle w/ boss. If anyone has a screenshot of this room I can show it easier
Path 1
In the room with the alcolytes and the captured engineer - after killing the alcolytes you can just run south out of the room to deaggro them, instead of kiting them while waiting for alcolytes to spawn.
Path 2
Range devourer - if you are range, run up the hill and turn right as if you are running to the warden boss - hug that right and you'll be on the cliffs overlooking the devourer nests. From here you can range dps them safely
Magg lava run - just have 1 person w/ stability/cc break run through, everyone else stay back and when they make it just TP back to entrance to have magg be w/ the runner.
