Any ban reports?

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about using gathering bots (FFXiV Minion, Viper, Basa, dunno which yet), but first I would like to hear how SE is acting towards detecting and banning that.

I would not be running it 24/7, more like leaving it on gather while watching some anime in my other monitor XD, no use of hacks... How dangerous would that be?

Personally I've been using bots since Realm Reborn was released to grind FATEs and gather/craft and haven't received a ban. I don't use hacks at all because they seem easily detectable. I've used Lasta and lately FFXIVminion. I play a bit riskily and leave them on for long periods of time but I've never been banned or warned so far.

Had 1 account banned, was teleport gathering. Other then that have 8 accounts running Minion pretty much 24/7 since start and no problem.

Whow that's amazing Hopefully you can keep that up for a while longer. How is the money compared to other games like WoW or GW2?

Teleporting and speed hack gathering will get you ban... 2 acct banned so far... One for teleporting gathering and another for speed hacking... So far none other ban without the use of teleport and speed hacking

Can't compare with WoW, but I use to sell more gold on GW2 since all the servers are linked together... FFXIV is hard cause you have to sell on alot of servers to make good money.

I buy time cards / CDkeys with gil. You don't need to pay anything for subs or accounts

Not a ton of accounts like these other guys, only one account.

I play about 4 hours a day and when not playing (sleeping, working, watching TV) my character is bot gathering the entire other 20 hours of the day. Been doing this since the the first week and so far so good. This is normal bot gathering, no speed hacks or teleporting.

Currently using viper and been using that for a while, but tried others.

I play 24/7, teleport, speedhack, bot. No bans here. I think it is based all on player reports.

Well, today i get a Ingame Message from a Player that he see i was using Speedhacking and Botting.He tell me, he reported me . I will notice you, ifi get banned ��

Hmmm. What do you use for FATE grinding? I was under the impression that the bots available lacked that functionality.

mmominion has a fate grind option. It's been available since they did there beta, but is now sub. It's a great bot. I use both viper and minion interchangably for most things, but leveling=minion. I'll farm using both.
