    i would like to have a trial of the bot before paying... reviews don't seem too positive from the online searches...

    @PinkiPan... Bot uses (default) Numpad0 key to harvest. You prob just need to turn on numlock. To test, stand by the node yourself, press numpad0, and it should target the node, press it again, and it should start harvesting it. This key is configurable in the game and in the bot.

    @eugypt, Kurios will be doing a review of this bot sometime next week. I have no objections to having a trial, just need some time to make that happen. Right now, all of my time is being spent fixing bugs and tweaking things.

    ah i use numpad 0 for something else, is there anyway to change it to another key


    i changed my hotkeys back to test it and the bot just keeps walking into wallls for some reason even though the path doesent take it that way....


    i notice the bot uses autorun and alot of the time it will just run out of the zone and keep going

    Edit: i just tried reseting all keybinds to default incase it was that but nope its still just running all over the place with autorun

    Edit2: i think my first edit was caused by multiple bots canceling each other out you may need to take a look at running more than 1 game, also bot thinks everybody in the area is following it and keeps stopping

    ya, hopefully there is a trial, paying is not a problem, but at least im paying for a working bot.
    or at least the bot have a good review.

    I bought it on a fluke. So far its really good for mining. atm. I've gotten 19-26 so far. no crashes problems.

    To change the mining key.. I *beleive* it is under the viper->options->attacking. You can change that key to the key you have setup in game. In game I beleive this is the keybind->system->confirm key.

    @pink... you can adjust the follower settings via the viper->options->player detection

    Thanks, any idea about getting multiple clients to work ? bot just seems to drop all navigation skills when second instance of the bot is launched

    Yes I will need to add in a client selection button/thingy so that the bot will know *which* game to attach to.

    Just tried it out for a few minutes.. Seems like a pretty good start for a harvesting bot. Though there is no documentation for harvesting at the moment I figured it out pretty quick:

    1. Create a new patrol
    2. Enable the meshing and path around the area with the nodes
    3. Add hotspots close to the nodes
    4. Add the nodes as a target
    5. make sure your other keys like the interact key are set properly
    6. load and start the bot
    7. click on the item you want to harvest when the bot reaches a node and it will mine that one in the future.



    One major issue I encountered, was that the bot wouldn't always get close enough to a node and would get stuck trying to mine it from out of range by just a tiny bit. I haven't been able to solve this, even when playing around with the mesh to try and ensure it heads straight to the node. Being able to set the distance to gather the node at - or have that tweaked, would be nice.

    MMOViper's interface could still use some work: Editing meshes seems impossible currently, and I had to delete my entire mesh and start from scratch when I made a mistake. Another spot that could use improvement would be to add the ability to reorder hotspots which I could not find a way to accomplish without placing new ones and deleting the old ones - or deleting them all and starting from scratch. Seemingly important, as the bot follows them the order that they are listed.

    And obviously, supporting other keys to increase gathering success rate would be awesome. That's relatively easy to add, and pitviper has it on his todo list, so it's all good.

    @tsincaat - I can add a tweak for the distance but I have yet to see it not get close enough for me. But as you said it doesn't always happen leads me to believe that might just need to reduce the distance a tad and it will fix.

    Agreed on the interface. I'll be tweaking the hotspot window to add in some better editing. Same for the nav mesh. Already have code in place that will basically erase what you walk over.. (think photoshop eraser here)

    But ya looking good so far.. but these requests are what helps clean it up let me know what people are wanting to improve/fix.
