FFXIV release date announced

I am hoping so as I downloaded the benchmark software and it does look amazing, well comparing it to WoW looks it doesn't take much lol but from what you have said above it does defiantly seem like a game to try

Guys, for those of you that are wanting to know more about the game check out Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta - YouTube It's Kim from the yogs cast, and she has a 12 video kinda play through/ first impressions that talks about how the job/class system works, and the crafting and everything. It's really nice, even has a cross server dungeon finder at launch.


On a side note, we should see if we can get a set area for this game, I think it's going to be fairly good and have a good number of players.

This is a reply to the people that say the combat is to slow because of the 2 second to 2.5 second global cooldown; upon getting better gear the global cooldown is greatly reduced. Just thought I'd throw that in there

I agree this will be a nice big MMO now with soo many fixes and added stuff. PLEASE mods make this game its own section as to draw attention and might get plenty of exploits found and a few subs lol

With the new servers, going much better. Only thing that really depresses me about the game is the global cooldown. I hear it gets better at 50 and you can reduce it to about 1.5.. but still.. Biggest flaw in the game I think.

I also hate the global cooldown, but I understand why there is such an high global cooldown, this game is also played on the consoles, and you can't play as fast on a console the way you can on computer. Increasing the global cooldown makes the window timer higher so you have more time to do act.
