Winter Expansion

This section's been pretty dead lately, but there's still lots to talk about!



So far I've heard that for the winter expansion they're

• Bringing back the ship trails
• Adding new nebulas
• Tier 3 battlecruisers: tornado, naga, oracle, talos
• Buffing blasters and rails, + T2 ammo(Hail and Quake will be OP!)
• Anomaly/Complex changes
• Showing DPS in the fitting window
• Making the UI scalable
• New Font
• Some changes to POSes?
• New cyno effect
  
• Better shadows
• New Game launcer
• More!

Well the game itself is more like a dead guy using makeup anyway. Still they need to do allot of work for the game to be again really good again but with time we will see what happens eventually

The game has steadily increased in subscribers every year since release, I'd hardly say its in any way dead, but it is certainly more of a niche game.

Everyone wants to compare things to WOW, or COD, where you can leave your brain at the login prompt and do just fine, but that is not and hopefully never will become how you succeed in EVE and for that it doesn't have the same mass appeal. Don't get me wrong, I play those games too but I play EVE for a different set of reasons and comparing them seems like pancakes vs pandas, no reason not to eat them both
