How to Get Random Players Banned
With the somewhat recent exploiting that went on, the Elder Scrolls Online community got pretty butt hurt about infinite ultimates and speed hacking. Because of the community being wrought with anger, now is an easy time to get players banned.
The team that decides on bans are really sensitive to in game reports and, based on e-mails I've seen with them, they have limited tools to actually know if or how players are cheating. This type of reporting already seems to have worked at getting some of the top leader board score earners banned.

Pretty dickish thing to do, but we don't have a rule against being a dick outside of the site so this'll pass for now but I'm not going to allow this thread to turn into a flamewar.

Really?
Because there are people in this world that are the worst kind of scumbags.
This is nothing compared to what "people" are willing to do and/or have done to someone.

The main utility would be to make it very difficult for them to ban anybody or compromise a particular detection system.
For example, at the moment in wow pvp the boundaries of the battlegrounds have an auto-detect program triggering bans.
If you were to use some ability to push people outside of those boundaries somehow (ag dk death grip) this would trigger
numerous false bans and a lot of chaos. Blizzard would have to reconsider the system.
I'm not recommending this, and I don't and won't do it. Probably. But the intellectual possibilities are interesting.

There may be decent people that get banned, but yes, there are good outcomes for everyone once word gets out at how easy it is to report someone with zero evidence and get them banned.
