    Question regarding piloting safety (EU)

    Hi.

    I'm thinking of piloting my friend's account for grinding, but obviously I'm afraid of repercussions.
    We are from different countries, so I would have to use VPN to match our locations.
    Whats the likelihood of getting caught?
    Has Pearl Abyss introduced some measures to detect piloting? I heard this from random people so I only know it as rumours.
    If I were to be caught, would the result be a permanent ban off the bat?

    I guess what I'm asking is if anyone out there could share some of their experience on the matter.
    I should probably abolish the thought and stay safe.. but I want to help my friend.
