The Joys of Full Loot PvP

This is an old Albion Online video but I am fairly new to the game and this video pretty sums up the fun that can be had.

So you kill the guy and get to loot all his gear : P.
This level of harshness reminds me of perma death in SWG!.

Yes, but it's not full loot everywhere. Risk vs reward is apart of the core elements of the game from crafting to pvp.

Green Zones = No PvP, durability loss upon death, low tier crafting mats.
Yellow Zones = PvP with silver drop based on durability loss, mid tier mats, Zerg notice mechanics
Red Zones = Full loot PvP with durability loss silver, high tier mats, Guild territories, Zerg notice mechanics
Dead Zones = Full Loot PvP with durability loss silver, highest tier mats, guild terriroties, no zerg notices.


How they set up all the zones and all the rules is an ongoing thing they are testing but I love that risk vs reward is apart of every element in the game.

This is very much old school.
Nice to see some developers still making games appealing to the more 'hardcore' of audiences, even if they are fewer in numbers today than years gone by.

This game looks amazing. Is it worth buying a larger founder pack? I think im going to buy in.

One of the devs said you could upgrade your founder pack during the closed beta. So if you're on the fence you can buy the cheap one and then upgrade later. That's my plan anyway.

The game is so much fun ... lost 3 sets of gear today but gained tier 6 mounts caps and bags as well as 4.3 weapons to a total worth of around 300k.

Love this freaking game and if you guys are thinking bout getting it, lets hook up more then happy to help you learn the ropes.
