They've had developers in their discord explicitly state that they've banned people for modifying the game with cheat engine, I myself and many others have been banned last reset, and when one of my friends tried it he was shortly banned two weeks after using it the first time.
I've never used anything other than zoom and nofog, and I myself was banned last reset.
I'm not sure what's detected or not, but people seem to be saying that clicking further than anyone would ever be able to is a way they can detect it, but I doubt it. They probably just see that you've modified the game and ban you off that.
Because I bought a new account and I continue to cheat, although I bot instead of zoom hack.
Interesting, the theory about clicking outside the normal view seems really plausible though.
I'll keep using it like before and we'll see what happens!
In the meanwhile, here's a little note to everyone reading: If you're afraid of losing your account, there's an easy solution; Don't cheat!

Is there a way to hide cheat engine from their anti cheat?
That depends on their anti cheat, assuming that it's only using integrity checks, then you can use a plugin called Stealth Edit (Or do the same work yourself).
If they check for attached debuggers aswell however, you'll probably have to ditch Cheat Engine all together.
Willy the Fog is back
There's a patch today, still safe to go?
