Hello everyone! Recently, RIFT has released the clients API in the Public Test Shard. AddOns will be available soon, and that means it is time to begin thinking about AddOns in RIFT. I would like to extend an invitation to readers for an opportunity to participate in this. I am currently looking for people who have experience in certain fields, listed below. Please note that this is a paid position, and that you will be dealing with sensitive and confidential information. This means that we will be dealing with real life names, contact numbers, and other information. Depending on the position, you may have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Do not send me a Resume if you do not meet the requirements for the corresponding position, and you will not take this seriously. Non-Paid work is also available, if you would like to get your foot in the door. This type of position will never deal with sensitive information, though.

Position: Lua Programmer (Part Time and Full Time available)
Comments: Multiple positions available
Prerequisites: At least 1 year of programming experience in Lua, and be 18 years of age. Having a demonstration project will be a big plus, and having programming in other languages is good as well, although these are not necessary.
Duties: Programming functional, rigid AddOns for RIFT. You will have to be able to complete a project to it's exact specifications, which are provided. You must also be able to follow design advice from our designing team that is already in place. You must also be able to read another programmers code and have a fluid understanding of what is being done on an advanced level.
Pay: Pay is available either through PayPal, or through the mail. This will most likely be pay for services, not goods, and will not be included on things such as tax forms. This is not the case if you would require it to be a registered form of work, and you are in North America; at which point an exception can be made and you will receive all the necessary paperwork for this job.

Position: Obfuscation or Encryption and Dencryption Specialist (Contract Work)
Comments: Multiple positions available.
Prerequisites: Have a portfolio that includes extremely obfuscated code and/or encryption and dencryption techniques made by yourself. This is to be done with plaintext messages, but other forms are acceptable. Having formal education on this subject is also a plus.
Duties: Encrypt text in such a way that it can be dencrypted back into it's exact form. You will also be writing different ways and different methods of dencryption. Methods will include everything from Ceaser Ciphers to polyalphanumeric encryption. You will also have to be able to run multiple levels of encryption (Text to encrypted text, add a random string on to the end with an ID, encrypt it using a new method and add the ID to the end. Then, dencrypt it using the ID down to its form plus the added string, then dencrypt it back down to its' original form).
Pay: Pay is available through PayPal, or through the mail. Pay depends on the job at hand, on a project by project basis.

Position: Public Relations (Part Time)
Comments: Only one position available
Prerequisites: Previous work or volunteer experience that requires community management or public relations. You must also have a near perfect grasp of the English language. Including written work is a plus, although not necessary. You need to be at least 18 years of age as well.
Duties: You must be able to communicate directly to the public and to other groups in a clear and concise manner. You must be able to handle difficult situations with adequate responses and make enticing announcements to the public. Many times you will have to handle or coordinate other responsibilities, such as communicating and overseeing in game events.
Pay: Pay is available either through PayPal, or through the mail. This will most likely be pay for services, not goods, and will not be included on things such as tax forms. Position: Concept/General Designer (Contract Work)
Comments: Only one position available
Prerequisites: Formal education in Fine Arts; Post Secondary education is a plus. You also need at least 3 years experience in fine arts. Having experience in Graphic Design is a plus. Having designed GUIs, Interfaces, or other interactive technology is a plus.
Duties: Concept design, and interface design. It is not required to do this on a computer, although being able to work with technology and computers on more than just a basic level is required. You will also have to work as a team with our Graphic Designer to create professional grade finished products that are eye catching and a display of functionality.
Pay: Pay is available through PayPal or through the mail. Pay depends on the job at hand, on a project by project basis.
