    Java programming!

Hey I recently started learning Java, I've constantly read java eBooks and seen a lot of tutorials on youtube etc. I will move on to C later on but I've read around on different forums that people suggest starting with Java then move on to something harder like C

The applications I've made so far is not worth mention to the public, that include the Hello world program and simple open different programs and do stuff with them, simple mouse and keyboard stuff..
and a little play with GUI

I just want to make a thread for Java people, to show off to the world what they have made in java etc..

I'm not into Java (yet), but you should post some of your "beginner code" so you actually start off the thread yourself
I can write hello world in java too, but I have no clue of how to work with the mouse and keyboard thingie yet, would be nice to see.

Been following a book called Killer Game Programming (i've completed a semester in java programming but the course was a joke and have to retake it next semester at a different college)

Pretty much the same code that the author used but I am tweaking stuff here and transforming the game into something of my own. It's a knock off of worm chase. Source codes are available with the book but I find typing aids the learning process because it forces me to pay attention to every bit of code. I understand the syntax and what is going on but sometimes it's the game logic itself that confuses me.
