everything is possible if you know to use the features of a language...
try to start with little projects to find out how the concept of the language is. and i would call it vb.net (not vb 2010). if you search the internet for tutorials you will find more help.

thanks ive been doing reseach etc, thinking about taking a class next semester to learn vb.
vb.net is easy really... there is plenty of ebooks about it... and if you have visual studio it's easy to start off with it...
In general the hard thing about programming is doing it the "right" way... for best performance, low repeated code, ...
I'd suggest starting off on your own... classes usually go way too slow tbh... but ofc if you have no programming skills at all it might be a good option
I'm taking a VB class in school. Does this coding support the ability to make a program with a Form with buttons that when hit launch .exe files? I want to take what I learn and make a program so I can launch any of my multiple WoW versions in a click.
Anything you code in visual studio you can turn into executable files Well not only in Visual studio, but in any software you use to program something....the function is mostly called "build" to create the EXE file
If VB supports this? ofcourse... most likely you'll learn VB.NET in that class... You'll create your UI and when you build your project when it's finished you'll have a EXE that will pop your UI with the buttons etc you created and the code behind them to make them work
