[WoW] I would pay a coder for creating me a memory based chat buffer reader!

Hi guys,

i am currently looking for a small app which allows me to read the chat buffer of WoW and write it into a .txt file. Although i looked around in the memory section i am not capable to create something like that on my own because i am not a coder - too bad.

So my question now is if somebody is able to write such a tool?

Certainly I would pay this person for his work if it is easy to use and if I can handle the updates of the tool on my own in the future


My first thoughts about the features:

1. The tool should be able to log at least the following channels into different .txt files: Party Chat and Whisper Chat.

2. It would be great if the GUI would allow me to copy and paste the Offsets in the future to make sure that the tools works after patches. Due to the fact that I am not a coder the maintenacne for me should be pretty easy.

3. There should be a "start/stop logging button" on the GUI.

4. A feature to delete the .txt files automatically would be fine.

Yes this is possible. Until you learn how to find and update offsets yourself you won't be able to update this by yourself.

Well depends on the complexity of the project which is not easy for me to estimate because i am not a coder. But something between 15-20$ I would say.
